Southwest Tech, Families, Friends Celebrate Spring Commencement
Family members, friends, and well-wishers packed the Southwest Tech Ag/Auto Center to honor 443 students at the spring commencement ceremonies on May 16, 2015.
Graduates from our area include: Treyton Waage, Welding, Argyle; Jon Hendrickson, Welding, Blanchardville; Heather Jorenby, Practical Nursing, Blanchardville; Nathan Spink, Agricultural Power & Equipment Technician, Blanchardville; Ian Sigg, Agri-Business/Science Technology, Hollandale; Carlton Lease, Agricultural Power & Equipment Technician, New Glarus.
Area Students Named to Dean’s List at UW-River Falls
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls spring semester Dean’s List honoring 1,358 students has been released by Registrar Daniel Vande Yacht.
To be named to the Dean’s List, a full-time undergraduate must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an “A” and “B” average.
Dylan Johnson, Marketing Communications, Albany; and Ryan Ruegsegger, Dairy Science, Monticello, were both named to the Dean’s List.
UW-Stevens Point Spring 2015 Graduates
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point conferred degrees on nearly 1,400 graduates during the university’s 2015 spring commencement ceremonies. Graduates from our area included: Abby L. Kauk, BA - Bachelor of Arts, Social Work, Sociology, Albany; Dennis V. Haak, BS - Bachelor of Science, Biology, Belleville; Megan L. Ball, BS - Bachelor of Science, Dietetics, Cum Laude, Monticello.
Cioci Earns Degree From UW-Superior
Jessica Cioci, Belleville, has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Schubring Named to University of Northwestern-St. Paul Dean’s List
Nicholas Schubring, New Glarus, was named with Highest Honors to the 2015 spring semester Dean’s List at University of Northwestern - St. Paul. The Dean’s List includes full-time students with a grade point average (GPA) during the semester of 3.65 (out of 4.0) or higher. Schubring is pursuing a degree in Biology at Northwestern. Highest honors are awarded to students with a GPA of 3.90-4.0.
