On Friday, May 8, the Sugar River track team competed at the Deerfield Classic. Both the girls and boys team placed third out of 16 teams.

Sophomore Kirsta Diaz finished second in the girls 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.77, while senior Colton Boley placed fourth in the boys 100 meter hurdles at 16.60. Freshman Cole Myers also competed in this event.

In the girls 100 meter dash, junior Logan Fahey earned sixth place with a time of 13.60, and teammate junior Devyn Wieser ran this event as well.
