Belleville Victorious against New Glarus Softball Team

 


On Thursday, April 30, the Belleville softball team lost 9-2 to Marshall at home.

Cassidy Heller went the distance for the Wildcats, facing 36 batters while walking one, striking out three, and giving up 13 hits and nine runs; five runs were earned.

“She (Heller) played a very strong defensive game as well making a lot of outs for us. In the second inning, she fielded two balls for outs and struck a batter out,” explained Head Coach Connie Wunschel. “In the seventh inning, she got all three outs as well: two on grounders and one on a line drive back at her.”
