Raiders Winning Streak Continues as They Demolish Platteville

The Sugar River girls soccer team faced off against Platteville, Lake Mills, and Monroe last week; they won all three games to stay undefeated in conference play. Junior defender Abbi Lahey (22) looks to move downfield with the ball.

With the chill of winter continuing into the soccer season, the Raiders Soccer Team gave their fans the opportunity to stay warm with excitement and cheering as the team displayed tremendous ability and thrilling play.  Leading the Capital Conference with nine wins and one loss, and staying undefeated in conference, the Raiders continue to play well on both sides of the ball.  Vanessa Narveson leads the team and the conference in goals scored with 10.

On April 20th, the Raiders traveled to Platteville.  Senior Captain Kendell Goecke set the tone for the Raiders by scoring four goals in 1...
