Starting May 1st through May 10th, the New Glarus Optimists will be collecting outgrown and unused clothes and shoes (newborn on up), as well as sports equipment and other sports items families may not be using any longer and want to donate: i.e., cleats, footballs, rafts, fishing pools etc. and sports equipment.  There will be collection tubs at local businesses, UB&T on State Highway 69 and New Glarus Fitness Center.

Once the collection is over there will be another day where families can come see if there is anything that their family may use.  That day will also include a kite fly....
