Chuck Bigler, owner of Puempel's Olde Tavern, presented a check for $1,250 to Chuck McCafferty of Badger Honor Flight. The donation is from the money recently removed from half of the ceiling at the bar.
Last week Chuck Bigler, of Puempel's Olde Tavern, presented a donation of $1,250 to Badger Honor Flight, noting that he was happy to help out such a great organization.
To help honor veterans who gave so much to this country, Badger Honor Flight offers a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit the monuments that stand in their honor. The trip comes at no cost to the veterans and they are escorted by trained volunteers to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.
Currently, Badger Honor Flight is focusing on veterans from World War II, Korea and veterans from any conflict with a terminal illness....
