Monticello Dairy Queen Candidates
The Green County Ag Chest invites area girls to consider being a candidate for the Monticello Dairy Queen. To be eligible, you must be a sophomore, junior or senior for the upcoming school year at Monticello High School. The Monticello Dairy Queen is one of 11 queens that represent their community, Green County, and Wisconsin in the promotion of dairy products, resources, industries, tourism and people; especially the youth and youth organizations.
The community dairy queens are required to attend monthly Green County Ag Chest Meetings, give radio reports, and write newspaper articles. They attend area fairs and festivals and promote dairy products. They support community activities; visit many new places, meet lots of people and make lifetime friends.
If you wish to run for Monticello Dairy Queen or have questions, please contact your current Monticello Dairy Queen, Kallista Baebler, and your Community Queen Chairpersons, Sue Rieder (608) 558-0179 and Heidi Kassebaum at pines_02@yahoo.com.
