Employees from Mt Pleasant-Perry Mutual Insurance Company and Tri-Insure are joining together to form one team in the upcoming Race for the Cure being held on May 30th.  Five of the employees have been involved in a walking competition for the past six months, and their competition is winding to a close.  They decided this would be a great way to celebrate the number of miles they have put under their feet to better their own health and also be able to give back to a wonderful cause. 

We all know many wonderful friends and family members that have been affected by breast cancer.  Earlier this year, retired co-worker and friend, Liz Babler (also affectionately known as Mrs. Babler or Mrs. B to many Monticello High School alumni), was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Before her retirement, and while working part-time at Mt Pleasant-Perry Mutual, she would always have a smile on her face and brighten the work day.  Each day she worked at the office became known as a “Yay Liz Day”.  In honor of Liz, we have formed Team Liz to walk together in the Race for the Cure.
