The Dane County Fair has announced the 2015 Fair theme: #experienceit.

The theme is a nod to the increasingly online presence of the Fair and the social media idea of sharing your experiences with others. “It is a fun way for attendees to share their Fair experiences with us and other attendees,” said Scott Bentley, Dane County Fair general manager. Fairgoers are encouraged to join in on the conversation by tweeting or posting using the theme hashtag.

#experienceit also encompasses the many new attractions attendees will be able to experience at this year’s Fair. “There are so many new and exciting things happening at the Fair this year, and we really wanted to highlight that to the attendees,” said Bentley. New attractions include the Little Britches dairy cattle show, 2015 National Clydesdale Youth/Novice Congress, and Learning Lane, which gives exhibitors the opportunity to showcase educational animal displays to the public.  

The 2015 Dane County Fair will also feature a brand new layout, with livestock exhibits, show arenas, Kiddie Farm, and some youth exhibits being housed in the New Holland Pavilions, which were completed last fall. The Exhibition Hall will also undergo a layout-makeover with youth exhibits located in the Mendota Rooms and Commercial Exhibits located in the lobby. The Youth and Community stage will attract your attention at the south end of the lobby.
