Fire Departments from Monticello, New Glarus, Albany, Monroe, Juda and Evansville, along with the Monticello Police Department and the Green County Sheriff's Department, responded to a barn fire on Krueger Road east of Monticello on Thursday, February 21, 2019. According to Monticello Fire Chief Kevin Komprood, the barn and its contents were a total loss.
