On July 31, 2020, at approximately 8:17 p.m., while a New Glarus officer was working a State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Seatbelt Enforcement Traffic detail in the 1200 block of STH 69, they observed James Frion, 43, Argyle, drive past them without having his seatbelt fastened. Frion was subsequently stopped for not wearing a seatbelt. After the initial contact was made, the officer returned to their squad to begin the paper work.
