The Belleville cross country team competed in the River Valley Invitational in Spring Green on Saturday, September 12.

The boys placed fifth while the girls took 12th.

The boys were led by senior Tyler Gilbertson, who placed fifth overall with a time of 17:15.

Senior Justin Edge took 30th place at 18:53 and was followed closely by junior Jordan Hosler with a time of 18:59.

The fourth runner to cross the line for the Wildcats was freshman Caden O'Rourke at 19:21, and behind him was freshman Joshua Bowers finishing with a time of 20:37.
