At the annual meeting/Christmas party, there were several members that were recognized. Shown is Lion Brian Pence receiving the Birch Sturm fellowship award. Shown above with Brian is 1st VDS Tammy Rockenbach and Brian's wife, Donna. Also recognized that evening was Lion Jerald Wettach as Lion of the Year and Lion Nancy Elmer as the Melvin Jones recipient. Lion Nancy was also cited for her 12 years of service as treasurer and received a "Lions Serve" pen and pencil set. Also that evening we collected and donated to Green Cares $440.00 and 280 lbs of food. Our next event is the annual Fisheree held on January 26th at Lake Montesian octagon house. Hopefully we will have ice on the lake.
