The Monticello Village Hall has undergone many changes this past year, including leadership under the new Village President Leaora Miller. With recent vacancy of the Village Clerk position, Leaora and Sharon Ackerman teamed up to keep Village Hall operating. In August they welcomed Ann Goers to the team as the new Village Clerk/Treasurer to fill that role. Leaora, Sharon, and the Village Board would like to thank the citizens for their patience and understanding during this transition.

There has also been some changes to the physical space as well. On a weekly basis, a team of village members volunteer to clean the Village Hall. Paint for the village office was donated for a much needed face lift by residents Roger and Kenlyn Walmer. Be sure to stop in and check it out.

Also featured in this photo are the Chief of Police Szvon Conway and Sgt. Larry Harkey, who stay engaged in the community.

It's the Board's vision that all citizens and visitors will find our Village Hall to be welcoming and helpful. We hope to see you soon!
