Sophia Novotny spoke to the members of the Kiwanis Club of Belleville about the Bookworm Reading Program during the monthly meeting last Thursday. She shared that she had been in April Nindorf's class when she received the book "One Windy Day" by Tammi Salzano from one of the members of the Kiwanis Club when they visited the class to read and distribute books through the Bookworm Reading program. Now 9-years-old, Sophia wants to be an author or a scientist when she grows up. She started writing and illustrating her first book, "The Dream," last year.
