As part of this year's "We Jump. We Shoot. We Save. Hoops for a Cure" fundraising campaign, the Belleville boys and girls basketball players teamed up and assembled blankets over the winter break.

The Belleville boys and girls basketball teams and the Belleville Sports Boosters are teaming up with the American Family Children's Hospital (AFCH) as part of this year's "We Jump. We Shoot. We Save. Hoops for a Cure" fundraising campaign. This year's focus is to raise awareness in support of the hospital's Child Life Program (visit http://www.uwhealthkids.org/patient-guide/child-life/38525).

The players teamed up and assembled blankets over the winter break. The book/coloring book/crayon drive at the Elementary School is underway this week. Donations for new children's books, Jumbo 8 pack crayons or coloring books can be dropped off at any of the Belleville School offices. Monetary donations directly to American Family Children's Hospital (AFCH) will also be greatly appreciated. All items will be donated to the AFCH during the games next week on January 31st and February 1st.

We will be conducting a 50/50 and a raffle for $1/ticket. Raffle prizes will be given away at halftime of the varsity games. There will also be a "Fill the Bucket" race. Each side of the gym will compete to see who can put the most money their buckets. All proceeds will go directly to the Children's Hospital Child Life Program.
