Nature Shows at Bastille Day Lakefest Provide Wildlife Education

Licensed Falconer, rehabilitator and Eagle handler Dianne Moller, of Hoo's Wood Raptor, will be presenting at Bastille Day Lakefest on Saturday, July 14, from 4:15 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

The $2.3 Million lake construction project of Lake Belle View six years ago revitalized the natural habitat of the lake, the Sugar River and its surrounding areas. Walking through the berm, it's not unusual to see a Bald Eagle, Redtail Hawks, Cardinals, Orioles, ducks, a doe, Cranes, Bluejays and squirrels. Bastille Day Lakefest will offer three nature shows and Critters Table to provide wildlife education to help understand and appreciate the co-existence between wildlife and humans and the importance in preserving the world in which we live.
