Chloe Elmer has been chosen as the Poppy Princess for Monticello this year, representing the Amstutz-Marty American Legion Post #256 of Monticello. She is 10 years old and in the fifth grade, and is the daughter of Joe and Deb Elmer. Chloe has a brother, Trae, and a dog, Cleo. Her grandparents are Tom and Carol Kubly, and the late Richard and Barbara Unke. Barbara was the President of the Amstutz-Marty American Legion Post #256 Auxiliary for five years, or longer, up until her death in 2016. Barbara's father Orville Anderson and her uncle Nordeen Anderson were Veterans of World War II....
