On Monday, April 10, 2017, the Friends of the Library held a book giveaway for all the students at the New Glarus Elementary School.

The project was coordinated with the Elementary School librarian, Katelyn Hansen. Each of the classes had an opportunity to come with their teachers to the hallway outside the school library to look over their choices of a wide variety of fiction types or science or others written for all age levels.
