Shepherd of the Hills Celebrates 50 Years

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in New Glarus was dedicated on April 30, 1967. In its 50 year history, the Shepherd of the Hills has been served by four pastors, Rev. William Dargatz, Rev. William Phillip, Rev. Ron Nybroten and the current pastor, Rev. Gene Talley. A celebration will be held on May 7th.
The community is invited to help celebrate 50 years of ministry at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. The dedication of Shepherd of the Hills took place on April 30, 1967, with the installation of its first pastor, Rev. William Dargatz. Shepherd of the Hills has been served by a total of four pastors over the past 50 years, including the Rev. William Phillip, the Rev. Ron Nybroten and the current pastor, the Rev. Gene Talley.
