The Monticello Lions Club and the Green County Conservation League wish to thank all the participants of the Fisheree. This 27 1/2 inch northern was caught that day. There were a lot of avid fishermen and youth who take fishing very seriously.

This is an annual event sponsored by the Monticello Lions Club and the Green County Conservation League.  We thank everyone for braving the elements to try their skills at fishing.  We also would like to thank all the donors of door prizes for the raffle that day. There were over 80 door prizes, plus the money winners. 

Pat Brandt of Monroe won 1st prize of $300, Michelle Godfrey of Argyle won 2nd prize of $200 and Kim Christen of Blanchardville won 3rd prize of $100.   

We thank everyone who purchased tickets and came to our shelter house to enjoy chili or a brat. There were also separate door prizes for the children 10 and under.  We could not have a successful event without your support.
