Belleville seventh grader Megan Dyrhaug will be performing in "If the Shoe Fits...A Cinderella Story" at the Belleville High School on Wednesday, November 30th.

A smart, resourceful young maiden named Cinderella is obviously the best candidate for the new position of princess, but she must compete with her two step-sisters and conniving step-mother to accomplish her goals.

The noted Dane County children's traveling theatre brings the classic Charles Perrault tale to hilarious life with a contemporary twist. Just when you think the story is familiar, a new dimension appears. Come see what unfolds in PlayTime's adaptation of the story for the children's stage accompanied by an original musical score.

If the Shoe Fits...A Cinderella Story will be presented by PlayTime Productions Children's Theatre on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at the Belleville High School. The play begins at 6:30 p.m., and there is a suggested donation of $2.00 for admission.

PlayTime Productions creates community theatre by children, for children. Since 1979, its all-youth casts (ages 8-15) have enchanted audiences around Dane County with original theatrical versions of classic fairy tales and other stories like The Red Shoes, The Little Match Girl, Ali Baba, and Cinderella. Founded by the late Teddy Studt, PlayTime Productions is dedicated to bringing "a little magic" into the lives of the 5,000 Dane County residents who attend PlayTime's productions each year.
