Belleville area women celebrated reaching 100 women pledged to support a new Library and Community Center at a dinner on October 13th.

Each woman pledged $1,000, payable over five years ($200 per year; $16.67 per month), or was honored by friends or family making a pledge in her name. It took only two months to reach this goal of obtaining pledges totaling over $100,000 to kick-start the new library fund.

Now it's the men's turn.
