We Care Friends of Zwingli UCC Serve Root Beer Floats at New Glarus Home & Glarner Lodge

Sue Moen

Thursday, August 11, Residents of the New Glarus Home and Glarner Lodge in New Glarus were treated to an afternoon of fun and fellowship. The "We Care Friends" of Zwingli UCC in Monticello, along with their new Pastor Lance Smith and his family, served up tasty Root Beer Floats for the residents, their families, as well as the staff. Memories, stories and smiles were the order of the day.

Zwingli UCC is proud to welcome Pastor Lance Smith, his wife Heather and two sons, Isaac and Zeke, who have just moved to Monticello. The Smith family moved to Monticello the middle of July from serving the Congregational church of Tryon, in the mountains of North Carolina, for over 13 years. Pastor Smith began his ministry in Green County on August 1st. Zwingli UCC has been serving Green County since 1887, "Inviting ALL to Follow Jesus in Faith and Action." Come join us at 9:15 a.m., each Sunday for worship.
