Sunday, April 10th, New Glarus Officially opened its' first Little Free Library in the New Glarus Village Park.

Children of all ages may go to the library to find books that interest them and then they can take the books home. After they have read the books, they can bring those back or bring new books back to the Little Free Library.

Donation books are still being collected at the New Glarus Elementary, Middle, and High Schools and at the New Glarus Public Library.

Thank you to those who donated books. Most of the books that were donated are in the Free Library or will be added to the library in about a week.

The opening of the Little Free Library was planned by Abby Marty and Matti Kirch, sponsored by New Glarus Middle School FCCLA and funded by the New Glarus Youth Committee. The Little Free Library was decorated by Small World Childcare and the post was donated by Bob Kirch from Cedar Direct. Thank you to everyone for all the donations and help to place the Little Free Library in the New Glarus Village Park.
