Wildcats Sending Scholey to State Meet

Belleville's Carter Scholey was the overall sectional champion, placing 1st overall and earning an individual spot to the State Cross Country Meet next weekend in Wisconsin Rapids.
The Wildcats ran exciting races at Albany for the Section 6, Division 3 State Qualifier meet. I couldn't be prouder of the hard work the kids put into their seasons.
Alora Spiegel led the girls team with a time of 22:00, and placed 11th overall. Following Alora was Lainey Winkers (23:34), Alice Elliott (26:15), Ruby Gustafson (29:23), Maddie Miller (30:36), Allison Dyrhaug (31:44) and Annika Esselstrom (35:07). The girls placed 9th of 11 teams.
