Priscilla Langbehn

Priscilla "Lizzy" Langbehn, age 43, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, following an automobile accident near Belleville. She was born on March 29, 1977, in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and Grenadines, the daughter of Recaldo and Clithie (Lewis) Duncan.

Lizzy met Shawn Langbehn while he was serving as first mate on a sportfishing vessel in Tortola. The couple married on February 23, 2003, in Saint Vincent. In 2006, Lizzy and her family traveled to New Glarus to attend a wedding in Shawn's family, and they decided to stay and make their home here. As part of making their home in New Glarus, Lizzy studied and earned her U.S. Citizenship. She had worked at the New Glarus Bakery and most recently the Duluth Trading Company for the last five years. Lizzy had an infectious smile and her laugh brought joy to all those around her. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to cook and dance, and was an ardent supporter of her son Mark's school activities and sports.

Lizzy is survived by her husband, Shawn; son, Mark; parents, Recaldo and Clithie Duncan; and siblings, Marilyn Hector, Gabby Hector, Colma Morris, Mitchie Lewis, and Shemback Lewis. She is further survived by her mother-in-law, Betty Layton; father-in-law, Mark (Sue) Langbehn; sisters-in-law, Nikki and Tiffany Gunn; brother-in-law, Christopher (Julia) Langbehn; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Tyler Henry; and sister, Rovina Hector.

A public celebration of Lizzy's life will be held at a later date.

The Zentner-Beal Funeral Home of New Glarus is assisting the family.
